Welcome to Higher Taste

Our dream for Higher Taste is to expand our horse rescue and to help other rescue ranches. The skyrocketed rise of the cost of hay since Covid has made it more difficult to maintain these magnificent  animals so our fundraising projects are crucial to our survival. Veterinarian cost are also to take into consideration. In the fall of 2022 our mare named Baby Girl needed surgery to remove a stone in her bladder that was causing heavy bleeding and the cost was over four thousand dollars plus the cost to trailer her to and from the hospital. She did very well so we are very grateful for the talented veterinarians and the donations that helped save her. Thank you everyone!  Also a shout out to Aneka who helped out with our horses and now has her own business called Aneka’s Nail and Hoof Trimming.
